Unionville Addition and Rejuvenation
OVERVIEW: Working with our clients to design a new layout on the second floor and an addition on the main floor. With the exception of the basement, everything was gutted and rejuvenated.
The second floor originally had four bedrooms, one used as a study. The study was turned into a laundry room and a main bathroom. The original main bathroom was turned into a master ensuite.
The main floor had a side entrance originally hosting a side door, laundry room, 3 pc bathroom, and kitchen. It now has a window (where the door was), a study, 2 pc bathroom, closet and a walk-in pantry. The original sunken family room floor was rebuilt and raised. The 425 sq ft addition now hosts the new kitchen. This area has a gentle sloped ceiling with the highest point being 10 ft.
FEATURES: Tilt N Turn European windows, no sheen oak flooring throughout, linear drain in master ensuite, crawl space under addition, continuous external insulation.
